Sandy Recovery Alert: NY Rising Deadline Fast Approaching

Please reach out to all your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, churches, temples, and community groups to be sure everyone who has been affected by Super Storm Sandy is now signed up for NYRising! The DEADLINE is April 11th.

STORM RECOVERY RESOURCE FAIR
SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 2014
FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL
9am – 1:30pm

Meet with Federal, State and Local Agencies dedicated to your recovery! You will also be able to meet with licensed contractors and architects.

Attention HOMEOWNERS… Get your home fixed! Whether you have received flood insurance benefits or not… you must apply to NYRising by April 11, 2014.

  • Was your home damaged by Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee?
  • Do you need help in repairing or rebuilding your home?
  • Are you displaced from your home?
  • Have you paid for costs to repair your home?
  • Do you need help with paying your mortgage?

You may still be eligible even if you’ve received assistance from FEMA, SBA or your Home Owner’s insurance.

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, you may be eligible for financial assistance through the NY Rising Housing Recovery Program.
